It’s a misty rainy morning with expectation of rain showers today, and I just love days like this.  I’ve been sitting with Mika and my tea, watching the cars drive by outside in the misty rain, the tires spinning a plume of water into the air from the wet road.  

And then I thought, those aren’t just cars driving by, those are people driving by.  Each one navigating their car toward where they are going, for whatever reason they are going there.  I decided to fix my mindset on that, people going by as they are busy living their daily life, and my eyes then began seeking out a glimpse of the person in the car I was looking at, rather than just the car itself.

Then I saw a wonderful opportunity – I could fix my intention to share an energy of love and positive intention on each person I saw driving by.  I could manifest a connection, an energy of love for each person.  

So I have been enjoying my tea, sharing this time with my kitty, and also with some of the people in my community.  I have been realizing some specific blessings this morning, feeling enormous gratitude for them, and now I can count my blessing of living in a community of peace as one of them.
