Early morning sunshine is something special. There is a certain softness to it, a special kind of light that glows with the promise of a new day. It calls up feelings in me that take me back to when I was a child, experiencing each morning with a joyful anticipation of the day ahead. I think that is something that often gets lost with the passing of years, I know it did with me. But I’m finding it again, and early morning sunshine is my touchstone.
