Meditation has completely changed my life. I never could have imagined the way it has transformed my life, and I have come to see meditation as something that is essential to me.
Whether I meditate for just a few minutes or for a longer period of time, the impact from doing it is huge. The amount of benefit from even just a few minutes of time spent meditating is unbelievable to me. I cannot adequately express how life-changing meditation has been for me.
I encourage you to consider giving meditation a try. See for yourself the impact it can have on your life and how you feel. It is not complicated or difficult. It does not require a lot of teaching to try it, and it can be done in a way that is not overwhelming and does not require a large commitment.
These are some core parts of meditating that been very beneficial to me.
They have made a meditation practice something that doesn’t feel hard to do and that I look forward to doing.
They are offered to you with love and positive intention.
Please use them or don’t, whatever fits for you.
- Sit in a position that is comfortable to you. It doesn’t matter what position you take.
- You can either close your eyes or leave them open and focus on a particular object. Try both ways and find out which way makes it easier and fits best for you.
- Simply follow your breath, your in-breath and your out-breath. That’s all you need to do.
- Just focus on your breath while you breathe at whatever pace feels natural to you.
- Your thoughts will sometimes wander. That is normal, that is to be expected. Whenever you notice that your thoughts have wandered, just gently bring your focus back to your breathing again.
- Meditate for however long a time that you choose. A minute, a few minutes, five minutes, ten, whatever. It doesn’t matter how long of a time you meditate as much as it simply is good that you meditate.
- You may find that you choose to meditate for longer periods of time on some days and shorter periods of time on others. That is fine. Do what feels like it fits whenever you sit down to meditate.
- Your meditation time is yours. Do what fits for you. There are no outside expectations or rules that you have to meet or follow. Your meditation time is yours.
And that’s it. That is how you meditate. And I promise, you will experience great benefit from doing it. The impact meditation can have on your life is truly amazing.

I hope you choose to follow your breath today!
